"These puppets move by way of 3 satay sticks, concealed under the fabric. The skewers are attached to the head and hands. The head and hands are made of kitchen foil and tissue paper. The puppet’s outfit was originally a baby’s all-in-one suit. I cut the bottom off the suit and gathered the sleeves and neck holes. This project would suit children ages 8 and up. Or you could make one for a younger child to enjoy. (Although, I did try putting on a puppet show for my 2 year old niece. ‘Enjoy’ is probably not the word that springs to mind – ‘terrified’ is closer)" Read more
