awesome!
ReplyDeleteI want one I can wash/(lite vacuum?). That one will come apart.
ReplyDeleteAm now considering how to drag longer rags through the hessian, or some like thing, as those hippie- store rag rugs which were cheap now cost $200.
My Mom used to make these (back in the 60's) using burlap as the base, ripping or cutting strips of cloth about 1 inch wide and 3 inches long, she used a crochet hook to pull the fabric strips through the strands of burlap and tied each one - those rugs felt great on bare feet!
ReplyDelete*tying the fabric strips keeps them from falling/slipping out and makes the rug washable
I bought a box of fabric at an Auction and on the bottom there were 3 rag rugs. I have been trying to find out how to make them thanks for the Tutorial
