Tutorial - Make a Non-Alcoholic Sangria Drink

http://theseamanmom.com/non-alcoholic-sangria-recipe/
Refreshing drink for adults and kids, perfect for parties

Tutorial at Creative Homemaking Blog

"Ever since I visited Spain, many moons ago, I fell in love with sangria. It’s not the alcohol I used to love about it but the great assortment of fruit! But as I’ve given up alcohol a few years back I didn’t have the chance to enjoy a real sangria ever since. Until yesterday when I decided to make a non alcoholic sangria recipe!  This version is pretty similar to “the real thing” without the alcohol buzz which I don’t miss at all. This lovely recipe is so nice to sip on and/or to “snack” on the fruit. I used a lot of lemon and orange as I think citrus is the perfect choice for a refreshing summer drink".... Read more

http://theseamanmom.com/strawberry-basil-and-black-pepper-smoothie/
Refreshing dessert or a pre-work out drink

Tutorial at The Seaman Mom Blog

"We’ve had a lot of strawberries this year. So many that at one point I did not know how to handle them. I mean, there’s only so much one could eat. We’ve used our strawberries in so many recipes, I think I’m all set for a whole year, I don’t need any more strawberries in my diet! One of the great ways we consumed our strawberries was through smoothies and I particularly loved the strawberry basil smoothie recipe with black pepper. I love spicy food and I’m a sucker for refreshing, cooling beverages, things this smoothie delivered in just a few minutes".... Read more

http://theseamanmom.com/fruit-juice-based-cocktails/
Stay hydrated with tasty juice cocktails

Tutorial at The Seaman Mom Blog

"Everyone knows that keeping yourself hydrated is one of the key ingredients to lead a healthy lifestyle. While water is the most efficient way to stay on the right track you may not always be so keen on drinking plain, boring water all day long. And this is where fruit juices and fruit juice based cocktails come to the rescue. The problem is not all juices are as healthy and many do more damage than good to your health as they are based on fruit concentrate and sugar. So be sure to check out the labels for those ingredients before buying juice or better, try and make your own fresh juice, whenever possible".... Tutorial - How to Make Rose Petal Lemonade

A twist on one of summertime's favorite drinks

Rose Petal Lemonade Tutorial at Herban Lifestyle Blog

"The antique tea roses as well as wild roses in my yard are in full bloom. They look so beautiful I want to eat them. And, fortunately, I can since I don’t use any chemical pesticides in my garden. In the past, I have made cold strawberry rose petal soup and rose petal jelly. This time, I thought I would try making a beverage out of the blossoms. Inspired by a cold glass of lavender lemonade I had at J. Chocolatier in Georgetown yesterday, I thought I would try making my own version using roses".... Read more

Tutorial - How to Make Swedish Egg Coffee

A tutorial from grandma! Absolutely loved it!

Swedish Egg Coffee Tutorial at The Pickled Herring
"Egg coffee?? Yes, egg coffee. I don't know the history behind this crazy Swedish concoction but it's delicious, trust me.

My grandma told me about this back when I was in high school and we made it together one afternoon. Then when I was over having a scrabble tournament with her yesterday, we made it again. It's so simple and actually makes one great cup of coffee. This is especially good if you don't own a coffee pot or are out of filters (which has happened to me one too many times)..." Read more
