  1. I love your idea for this calzone.....and especially your pertinent comment that you can add anything to a calzone. My son LOVES it when I brown up ground beef and then add it into spaghetti sauce and a bit of mozarella cheese. Stuff it into the calzone, pinch shut- bake. I have to admit I cheat by buying the ready made pizza dough in a bag from Fresh and Easy. Seriously, even with the bagged crust, you can have a delicious dinner on the table in 20 minutes!!

  2. K, you're so right. We've even tried a little different variation that I should have included. After a few failed attempts at stuffed bread loaves, I decided to try it cinnamon-roll style. I roll out my dough, spread herbs, garlic, lunch meats, and cheeses, roll it up, slice, let rise, and bake at 350. They are perfect for quick, on-the-go lunches.
