"This fifth square is another reversible fabric with a lovely hooking rhythm. I love me those stitches I can create without incessant counting. And I'm on a mission now to keep each square reversible. I discovered the solid scallop at Lion Brand Yarns Stitchfinder and did not vary from their stitch except for length and height counts. The fabric creates lovely fans without a lacy appearance, and has a soft drape similar to the baby bubbles of Square 3. It is worked with five double crochet in one stitch, skip two, single crochet...and repeat.
